Legislation to Increase Yellow Light Times at Red Light Camera Intersections in California Unanimously Passes Transportation Committee

We were successful in convincing the members of the California Assembly Transportation Committee to UNANIMOUSLY vote to extend the yellow light times at photo enforced intersections in California and reduce the fine for rolling right turns. We couldn’t have done it without your support as your donations made it possible for me to travel up to Sacramento and testify. There’s still a long road ahead and we anticipate some stiff opposition from cities that are using red light camera enforcement as a profit center. Please consider donating to our cause so we can continue this good work.

Congratulations, Jay, on the bill out of Committee to require one second longer yellows at intersections with red light cameras. Jim Walker, National Motorists Association, Ann Arbor, MI
